Turkey is a major supplier of Boron minerals. Colemanşte is the most abundant. Biggest mines are in western-central anatolia from north to south. Some, although rare,  come with lovely blue celestine crystals and some with red realgar crystals. Meyerhofferite is less abundant. The brown colemanite that used to come from the mine in Balıkesir is no longer available.
