Many varieties of opal can be found in all over Turkey, Common opal and dentritic opal are abundant. The ones from Dodurga, Bilecik have interesting colors and patterns. Dendritic ones are usually from Kutahya and Eskişehir. Fire opal is also found at Saphane mountain in Karamanca, Kutahya.
